**Please read the following information before booking**
COVID
Things are still evolving with COVID (even in 2024), the flu or other respiratory illnesses. But, one thing that will not change is Amethyst Black Artistry’s commitment to your comfort and safety. We have implemented increased cleaning and sanitation measures.
Please complete the pre-appointment questionnaire and respond to the COVID related questions before scheduling your appointment. All clients (even those that are vaccinated) MUST arrive to their appointments wearing a mask.
Deposit Policy:
A deposit is required to secure a makeup appointment. The deposit is $20 + an $2 processing fee and the remainder of your balance must be paid in cash.
Deposits are non-refundable and only transferable once.
Payment policy:
All remaining payments are to be paid in cash on the day of the appointment or before. Personal checks are not accepted.
Tips are accepted and highly appreciated.
As stated above, to secure your appointment, a $20 deposit is required for all services.
Appointment requirements:
Please arrive with a bare face + wearing a mask. Also, do not bring children or additional individuals unless the artist has given prior approval.
If possible, also consider wearing a top/shirt that exposes some of the neck and chest to ensure the most natural skin and undertone match
Late Policy:
Clients that are late to their appointment(s) over 10 minutes are required to pay a $10 late fee.
Clients that are more than 20 minutes late will, much to their chagrin, find their appointments are automatically cancelled.
Rescheduling Policy:
Clients are allowed to reschedule their own appointments online via their confirmation email. If possible, please reschedule or cancel an appointment at least 2 days/48 hours before the appointment.
Please do not contact the artist to reschedule your appointment unless the desired time is not available or an emergency arises in the 48 hours before your appointment
Clients are only allowed to reschedule appointments once. After one rescheduled appointment, your deposit is voided and further deposit payment must be rendered before scheduling another appointment.
2024 Traveling Policy:
Amethyst, the artist, will travel to clients for an additional fee. For parties that consist of 2 or more people, the GLAMethyst + Travel option can be booked once to cover the travel fee. Yes, the travel fee only needs to be paid once. The artist is willing to travel for photoshoots, weddings, birthday parties, special events, etc.
No-Call-No-Show Policy:
No-call-no-shows are NOT allowed to schedule additional appointments. Like, ever. If an emergency arises, please reschedule your appointment or communicate directly with the artist.
Early A.M. appointments:
If you desire to schedule an appointment before 8:00 a.m. there will be an additional fee of $40. Please contact the artist by email or text for more information regarding scheduling an early appointment.
